SAPience.be is the Belgian SAP User Group offering SAP users an independent platform to connect with other users, to share experiences and knowledge, to learn from peers and to influence SAP with feedback from the community.

What can you expect?

Different out-of-the-box presentations (think TED style talks), concise and to the point, with a lot of interaction and audience engagement.

There will be several expert booths to inspire you with the different possibilities SAP has to offer.

Why should you join?

To be informed about the latest developments and applications of SAP, brought by different users. This way you get the whole story with pitfalls and challenges.

USERday is your chance to make up for lost time by sharing crucial and valuable information during a live event.

What will we present?

Terumo EMEA is a core player in the EMEA healthcare market by providing the best quality products and services. As an innovative SAP customer, Terumo has developed an ERP architecture that enables them to create composable, highly usable, high-performance solutions.

One of the critical elements within this (SAP) architecture is low-code technology. With the Mendix low-code platform, Terumo wants business units to actively participate in the company's digitization journey and app development. Keeping the core systems clean, accelerating their agile way of working and injecting incremental innovations are essential by-products of this strategy.

During this session you will discover one of the most interesting low-code journeys in Belgium: Sigurd Segers, Director Applications, Enterprise Architecture & Analytics, will explain how they started, where they are now, how they see the future and how they envision citizen development. Oh yeah.. and maybe they even share some real technical details about the IT architecture.
