Summary

Low-code is perfect for speeding-up the digitisation process on an industrial scale, offering fast, flexible solutions through an agile process. Platforms like Mendix low-code enable manufacturing companies to digitalise paper-based flows, maximise digital data input, increase insights and so much more.

The era of classic Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is over. Rather than implementing large monolithic pieces of software, low-code represents a microservice approach. Small(er) modules that can be connected quickly and easily. Speedboats instead of one big oil tanker. Think of a production order cockpit, an application to manage production or machine downtimes, a scrap waste module, an application on top of your ERP system to manage quality checks or a mobile solution to execute maintenance work orders to name a few of the endless possibilities.

Agenda

  • 12:30 - 13:30 | Welcome (snacks & drinks)
  • 13:30 - 13:45 | Introduction
  • 13:45 - 14:15 | Terumo
Terumo EMEA is a core player in the EMEA healthcare market. They adopted low-code to replace paper process sheets, aiming for more flexibility, higher levels of detail and a more professional, future proof system
  • 14:15 - 14:45 | Etex
Etex is a global industrial group with a diverse portfolio. With more than 100 sites in over 40 countries, digitising their shop floors and harmonising their manufacturing processes is a challenge to say the least. You'll hear the story of how they started with low-code and how the OEE Registration app came to life.
  • 14:45 - 15:00 | Break
  • 15:00 - 15:30 | Lotus Bakeries
Lotus Bakeries is a famous Belgian biscuit company. To accommodate their manufacturing roadmap, Lotus explored how low-code could help them gain insights into their own plants and production processes, from an overweight app in South-Africa to an Operations Cockpit for their Belgian and US plants.
  • 15:30 - 16:00 | Arkite
Arkite Human Interface Mate (HIM) provides manufacturers the ultimate virtual assistant. HIM guides operators in the manufacturing industry by analyzing all human and machine operations and act real-time. HIM prevents errors before they even occur and thus guarantees first time right procedures. An introduction and demonstration.
  • 16:00 - 17:30 | Closing & drinks
